Working Principle Of Hair Dryer And Its Related International Standards
Date:
The simple principle is to use electricity passing through a heating element to generate heat. A motor and fan draw in air and blow out hot air. This accelerates the evaporation of moisture from the hair's surface (drying the hair) while also reducing moisture content within the hair, making it easier to maintain a fixed shape (styling). With the right comb, the hair's original shape can even be altered (shaping).
The hair dryer market has flourished in recent years. The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, Ministry of Economic Affairs, currently has relevant tests to ensure basic safety of hair dryers, such as the national standards CNS 3765, CNS 13783-1, and CNS 14978, and the international standards IEC 60335-2-23 and EN 62233.
